Sellthru for Vinted: Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-10-19

Who we are

Sellthru for Vinted ("Sellthru") is a browser extension published by Exochard, the publisher named on its store listings. Exochard decides what data Sellthru handles and is responsible for it. Contact: [email protected]

Sellthru is independent of Vinted and is not made, endorsed or supported by it.

This policy covers the extension and the licence API it talks to (hosted on Cloudflare at exotools-api.exochard.workers.dev; older versions call gigscope-api.exochard.workers.dev, which forwards to it). It describes every kind of data Sellthru handles, how it is used, where it is stored, how long it is kept and who it is shared with.

What the extension does

Sellthru helps Vinted sellers price an item. On a Vinted search page you click its button and it reads the listings that page already contains, then shows price bands, a suggested price and which groups of brand, size and condition get the most hearts. On an item page the button opens a card with the verdict against the going rate, Record, Offer and Pass, and a Compare prices button that opens the matching search in a new tab. It is present on every page of the Vinted storefronts (www.vinted.*), because Vinted navigates inside the page, and reads page data only on a search or item page. It never sends a request to Vinted, never prefetches another page, and never acts on your Vinted account: it does not favourite, make offers, message, relist or buy.

Summary of the data Sellthru handles

Sellthru does not collect your browsing history, your Vinted account, messages, orders or seller names, health or payment information, or your location. It has no analytics and no usage counts. It does not sell data, does not use it for advertising, and does not use it for any purpose unrelated to helping you price your Vinted items.

Data stored only in your browser

These stay in your browser's extension storage and are never sent to us. Uninstalling the extension deletes all of it.

DataWhat it holdsHow long
RecordsFor each item you choose to record (up to 1000 records): its listing number, link, title, brand, size, condition, currency, and the asking price and time when you recorded it. With each record, the figures the item card showed: the going rate with the number of listings behind it and its age, the resale price, shipping and target return in force, the offer and the return they modelled, the state you set (watching, considering, passed, bought, listed or sold) and the amount you paid if you type one on the ledger page. A past sale you type, paste or read from a CSV or TSV file on the ledger page (Free imports 20 rows) is a record too: its title, the day, the amount you received, the amount you paid if you give one, and the currency, with no link. A file you choose is read in your browser and is not kept. When you later open that item's page, the time and whether Vinted showed it as sold, with the price on the page. Items saved in the earlier sold log are copied here; the sold log itself is not changed and stays in your browser until you uninstall. Records are kept only on your computer and are never sent to us or anyone else. Sellthru makes no request to Vinted to update them.Until you remove the item on the ledger page or uninstall. A record the extension cannot read is set aside unchanged, up to about 2 MB in all, until you uninstall.
Last search ratesFor each group of brand, size and condition on the last search page you clicked: the group's brand, size, condition, currency, median price, the 25th and 75th percentile of the asking prices, the hearts per listing, the number of listings and the time read. Used to show a going rate on item pages. Held in the browser's session storage, for Free and Pro.Until the browser closes; a newer search replaces it.
Last search price bandsFor up to the last 12 searches you clicked: the main brand, the category id, the currency, the number of listings, the three price spans, the suggested price and the time. Used to say where an item page's price sits. Held in the browser's session storage, for Free and Pro; never sent.Until the browser closes; a newer search for the same brand and category replaces its entry.
Reopen flagThe page path and search words of the Vinted page you clicked, in the page's session storage on Vinted's address (key sellthru:reopen), so the panel can open again after Vinted's page reloads.Removed when the reload completes, or when the tab closes.
Page languageThe language code of the Vinted storefront you last visited (for example it), saved when a Vinted page loads. Used to show Sellthru in that language.Until you uninstall.
Window positionWhere you left the price panel, the item card and the launcher tab on the page.Until you uninstall.
Window foldWhether the price panel and the item card were folded.Until you uninstall.
Trial noticeThe time you dismissed the trial "ends soon" line and the trial "ended" line.Until you uninstall; each line stays away for 7 days.
What's new flagWhether the extension updated since you last opened What's new in the popup.Until you uninstall.
Buyer protection feeThe rate, fixed part and currency code you typed on the ledger page, and the day you typed them. Used in costs and offers. Each record you keep also stores the fee it was worked out with.Until you reset it on the ledger page or uninstall; a record's copy stays with the record.
Offer floorFor each item card where you type an offer, a minimum or what you paid in the Offer floor: those amounts, kept per item (300 entries at most, oldest dropped), and the minimum you chose to keep for every item. Amounts you typed on the ledger page and have not saved are kept the same way.Until you uninstall; the oldest entries go past 300.
Shipping choiceThe shipping amount you typed in the cost line.Until you uninstall.
Target returnThe return percentage you typed for the Offer at line.Until you uninstall.
Rating requestWhether you rated or chose Never; how many times you used the price panel or logged a sold item (a count, capped); up to 8 calendar-day labels (for example 2026-10-07) of those uses; the times and day the request was shown, kept for a year. Used only to decide when to show a rating request: after 3 uses on 2 days, at least 14 days between requests, at most 3 a year. "Not now" counts as shown.Until you uninstall.
Page-reading failuresA count of Vinted pages Sellthru could not read, and the time of the last one. No address or content.Until you uninstall.
Free trialThe time your Pro trial started and when it ends.Until you uninstall.
Paid markThe time and the pass type of the last successful activation, kept so the trial is not offered to an install that held a pass.Until you uninstall; removing the key leaves it.
Clock checkThe latest time this browser has seen, so a clock set back does not extend a trial or a pass.Until you uninstall.
Seat release queueThe licence keys you removed whose seat could not be released yet, and the time of the last try.Until the release succeeds or you uninstall.
LicenceYour Pro licence key, the pass type and end date, the time of the last check, and a random id made when the extension was installed.Until you remove the key in the popup or uninstall.

Data that leaves your browser, and why

Licence check (authentication information)

eBay sold link

The Check on eBay sold button opens eBay's sold-listings search in a new tab, with the brand and search words in the address. Sellthru sends nothing itself; your browser makes the request and eBay's own policy applies.

Website roadmap page

Loading the roadmap page at https://sellthru.pages.dev/roadmap sends only the product name to the API. The website sets no cookies. It counts page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and keeps nothing that identifies you.

Checkout links

The plan badge and its pass buttons open a Payhip page in a new tab. The link carries one tag, utm_medium=extension. Nothing else is added.

When you remove the extension

When you remove the extension, the browser opens https://sellthru.pages.dev/bye. The page sends nothing: it offers a link to leave a review in your browser's store and a link to email us.

When you buy a pass

You buy Pro on Payhip, which handles the payment, your name, your email address and the licence key under its own privacy policy. Payhip then sends the API a notice about the order. The API keeps the product code of the pass, the price, the currency, whether a coupon was used and the order number for 35 days, plus a daily count of sales for 400 days. Your name, email address, network address and licence key are not stored by Sellthru.

Who we share data with

We share data only with the services that run Sellthru, and only for the purposes above:

Vinted receives nothing from Sellthru. We do not sell or rent data, do not share it with advertisers or data brokers, and do not transfer it for any other purpose. We would disclose data only if the law requires it.

How data is protected

All traffic between the extension, the API and the services above uses HTTPS. The API keeps licence keys and network addresses only as one-way hashes. Your records never leave your browser.

Your choices and rights

Children

Sellthru is a tool for Vinted sellers and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top. A change that adds a new kind of data ships only with an extension update whose store listing describes it.
